Boss hoping to add to squad

The Owls boss is after a defender and a midfielder for cover as he only has 12 fit professionals at the club.

Despite Wednesday's unbeaten run, the team has remained the same apart from the inclusion of James Quinn for Kenwyne Jones and Chris Brunt, who replaced the injured Matt Hamshaw.

Lee Peacock made his return against Port Vale on Friday night although he was not as fit as he would like to be at the moment and Sturrock is evaluating his options to bring in a few new faces on loan.

Two players mentioned are Plymouth's Hasney Aljofree, a former loanee at Hillsborough and Chelsea's Craig Rocastle, who has been north of the border this season with Hibernian.

Wednesday have sold their allocation for the Dons clash on Saturday while sales for the clash with Barnsley the week after are going very well.
