The Owls went down 1-0 after letting in a simple goal at the KC Stadium but there were initial reports that Sturrock had collapsed after the match.

Fortunately those stories were unfounded and Sturrock, who did collapse when in charge of St Johnstone, will be fit and healthy to pick the side this Saturday after spending the night at hospital.

Assistant boss Kevin Summerfield said of the game: "We let one set-piece undo all the good work we'd done throughout the game. We looked quite comfortable for most of the game but unfortunately it lasts for 90 minutes and you've got to concentrate for 90 minutes.

"The bad four defended really well and I can't think of a save that Nicky (Weaver) had to make."
