The Wednesday left-back was also bitterly disappointed that The Owls run of seven matches undefeated came to an end, but was more disappointed by the manner of the 1-0 defeat at The Bescot.

"We would have loved to turned it into eight matches and done that by winning," Burrows told the club's official website.

"We are very disappointed as we've got to the stage where a certain quality of performance is expected.

"We've got a bit predictable over the past few matches and that's something which has come to a head," he continued.

"We are lacking a bit of craft and quality around the box. We seem to be going a bit route one, 60 or 70 yard balls can be easy to defend against.

"We need to change things a bit and hopefully have a bit more quality in the final third."
