Can Owls keep Wolves at bay and make it 3 in a row?

Sheffield Wednesday play host to Wolverhampton Wanderers at Hillsborough on Saturday as they look for their 3rd successive win in the Championship.

Stuart Gray has a selection decision to make in midfield. Jose Semedo has been a regular in the central defensive midfield role but missed the win at Blackburn last weekend due to a 1-match ban. Kieran Lee came in and scored at Ewood Park and with Lewis McGugan expected to have recovered from a head injury, Gray is likely to select 2 from those 3.

Atdhe Nuhiu and Stevie May have worked well together up front in recent games but Caolan Lavery has been in impressive form for the academy team since returning from injury and is breathing down their necks for a first team opportunity.

Wolves will be without influential striker Nouha Dicko due to a hamstring injury and although Scott Golbourne and Ethan Ebanks-Landell are close to a return to first team training the pair remain on the sidelines.

Central defender Danny Batth, who enjoyed a successful loan spell at Hillsborough in the 2011/12 season is expected to feature.

Wednesday went 10 games without a win recently but have since won their last 2 and have only lost 2 of their last 11 matches.

After a bright start to the season on their return to the Championship Wolves have lost 5 in a row and have not won in 6 matches.

The Owls have failed to beat Wolves in their last 8 meetings and they have not won at Hillsborough when the two sides have met since the 1960's – a run of 15 matches.
