Last week Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Giles Coke joined Bolton Wanderers on loan and now another Owls midfielder has taken the chance to seek first team opportunities elsewhere.

Paul Corry has signed for League 2 side Carlisle United on a 1-month deal and could make his debut against York City this weekend.

The 24-year-old has failed to break into the Wednesday side this season and has been struggling to even make the match day squad with the likes of Semedo, McGugan, Hutchinson, Lee, Melo and even Coke and possibly McCabe ahead of him in the battle for a central midfield role.

Corry as made only 10 appearances in 3 seasons with the Owls and will be looking to impress at Carlisle as they bid to avoid relegation out of the Football League.
