CT promises to spill the beans

In one of the worse seasons ever experienced, The Owls could finish the current campaign in one of the lowest league positions in the club’s history.

And in a spectacular five-year fall from grace, The Owls will have dropped from being South Yorkshire’s number one club to potentially bottom of the pile, especially with upbeat Doncaster Rovers getting promotion!

Turner knows that things have to turn around, he freely admits that, but he can put his finger on something pretty important in regards to how bad things are.

He admits: "I can say things now but at the end of the season, I will let fans know why I believe the current problems are here but I can’t say anything at the moment.

"I’m not going to be caught up in a war of words with Ken Bates, but the board know we need to do better, Dave Allen knows we need to do better."

But Turner does believe that some of the players who were relegated with Wednesday did not want to lower themselves by playing in the second division.

He continues: "I thought at the beginning of the season with Lloyd Owusu and Shefki Kuqi in attack that we were going to rip this league apart although it became most evident that we were not going to that with the two a few games into the season.

"Some players just didn’t want to degrade themselves by playing in the second division."
