The 36-year-old, released by Chris Turner in the summer, has moved up in the league ladder after Foxes boss Mickey Adams wanted an experienced back-up for the error-prone Ian Walker.

Pressman, who's Owls career spanned three decades, only left the club twice in his spell at Hillsborough to play for Stoke and West Brom on loan.

The former England U-21 and 'B' custodian was even called up to the senior international squad but failed to make the breakthrough.

He is set to have a testimonial at Hillsborough in the summer and hopefully thousands of fans turn out to say a final goodbye to an absolute legend.

Another ex-Owl has got sorted out with a new club after Simon Donnelly got a one-year deal with Dunfermline.

The former Scotland international's time at Hillsborough was ruined by injuries but hopes for a fresh start with The Pars after leaving St Johnstone.

Wednesday play in the final of the Ibiza tournament tonight against Watford.
