Duo back in contention

Simek and Watson, arguably two of The Owls' most consistent performers this season, have been sidelined through injury.

Richard Wood will definitely miss out so Watson could fit in at the back although that place is expected to go to either Lee Bullen or Richard Hinds so the former Everton man can compete for a midfield berth.

USA international Simek will slot straight back in at right-back replacing Hinds who started there on Tuesday night.

Deon Burton, who was taken off with concussion during the torrid home defeat to Scunthorpe, is set to play.

Burton O'Brien is also set to keep his place on the left-hand side of midfield - keeping Etienne Esajas on the bench.
