Duo set to leave/Pre-season confirmed

Coughlan, an inspirational leader, has been kept out of the team due to the form of Richard Wood and Lee Bullen and has been on loan at Burnley for the last few months.

The Irishman had a torrid time off the pitch this season culminating of the loss of his younger brother in a freak, tragic accident and Brian Laws wanted to send him out on loan to keep his mind off things.

Needless to say, Coughlan performed well for Burnley and could move there this summer if a deal can be reached.

Graham meanwhile broke club discipline rules earlier this year and was shipped out immediately on loan to the league's wooden-spoon winners, his former club Torquay United - he did not exactly do himself many favours at Hillsborough and his consistent lack of form was a major decision for Laws to let him go.

Meanwhile, Wednesday will start their pre-season campaign away at Conference club Halifax Town on Saturday 14 July before jetting off to Holland to play Go Ahead Eagles (17 July), Gerald Sibon's old club Heerenveen (18 July) and FC Gronigen (21 July).

Wednesday return from the Netherlands to play away games at Chesterfield, Port Vale and John Shieridan's Oldham Athletic between 24-31 July before taking on a team at Hillsborough on 4/5 August - a week before the season starts.
