Trip to Premier League giants in store for 3rd round winners
Sheffield Wednesday face the prospect of a trip to the capital to face Chelsea in the 4th round of the F.A. Cup if they can overcome Luton Town.
The Owls and the Hatters played out a rather uninspiring 0-0 draw at Hillsborough in the 3rd round on Saturday but the prize of a visit to Stamford Bridge in the next round will make the replay next Tuesday evening more interesting.
Wednesday have not faced Chelsea since the 1999/2000 season when they lost 3-0 in London but did manage a 1-0 home win against the Blues. The two clubs have followed distinctly different paths since then and the Owls faithful would relish the chance to see their team take on what has become one of the most successful teams in Europe in the 21st century.
