QPR Vs Wednesday: Team news & preview

Sheffield Wednesday manager Jos Luhukay has shuffled his defence after an error-strewn performance in the 2-1 defeat to Middlesbrough last Friday.

Wing-backs Liam Palmer and Matt Penney are replaced by Ash Baker and Morgan Fox and the shape is likely to change to 4-3-3 as centre-backs Tom Lees and Jordan Thorniley are replaced by defender Daniel Pudil and midfielder Josh Onomah. Striker Steven Fletcher has also been rotated with Adthe Nuhiu coming in.
Fletcher is Wednesday's main attacking option on the bench with the likes of Fernando Forestieri, Marco Matias, Sam Winnall and Gary Hooper all out injured.

By contrast Rangers manager Steve McLaren will field the same 11 that started their weekend win at Ipswich Town. QPR are unbeaten in 3 games but have lost 3 of their 6 home games in the Championship so far this season. The home defeat on Friday brought to an end a 4 match unbeaten run for the Owls, who have won their last 2 away games but they are yet to keep a clean sheet in the league this season.

Wednesday only picked up 1 point against QPR last season, thanks to a 1-1 draw at Hillsborough. When they last met at Loftus Road in March, Rangers won 4-2 having scored 3 times in the first 15 minutes.
