Folly boosts Owls ahead of Sky Blues clash

The French midfielder has been a revelation for The Owls since joining one a one-year deal from Southampton in the summer.

But thankfully Brian Laws has made sure the former France Under-21 star is now on the books at Hillsborough long term.

Folly will continue in midfield in what will be mostly an unchanged side although Laws will check the fitness of Madjid Bougherra, who returned back from Algeria's 2-1 defeat to Burkina Faso today after being withdrawn at half time.

Meanwhile, chairman Dave Allen has appealed again to supporter's group Wednesdayite to give back their shares to the club and in return, he will put in £500,000 from his own pocket to fund player purchases.

The shares, which equate to around 10percent of the club's total, were given to Wednesdayite under their old name, The Owls Trust and Allen believes that if the board are in control of more shares, a buyout will be more likely to happen.
