Hemmingham considers lawyers

The board believe that the Trust have ‘nailed their colours to the mast’ in regards to Ken Bates’ proposed investment into the club, and also labelled them as a 'disgrace'.

The Trust was told to find another office away from Hillsborough at the weekend and they have also been banned from all social events in the near future.

Hemmingham believes that an individual should not be banned by his employers on the grounds that he just wanted to back potential investment into the club, not an entire overhaul of the board.

Bates has already stated that he wants to sit down and discuss what is going to happen with the current board members, but has already refuted talk that he will buy the directors out who are owed £4.5million by the club.

Meanwhile Dennis Hobson, the boxing promoter whose consortium wants to take over Wednesday, says he will not settle for being in joint control with Bates although has not ruled out a bid of his own.
