JJ set for Stoke return

The winger, who has been hot and cold this season, returns from suspension after missing the torrid Leicester City defeat nearly two weeks ago.

Johnson was sent off for a second bookable offence at Watford and had to sit out the clash with The Foxes but is hoping to start at The Britannia.

JJ has played well in the reserves recently and has reportedly been in great form on the training ground and his influence could be vital in a tough-looking match.

His main problem is consistency and Wednesday fans are still yet to see the best of him since his signing from Bradford City in January.

But with him being in good form during his enforced hiatus - expect to see the Jamaican play a pivotal part on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Stoke's former Swansea striker Mamady Sidibe will miss the game due to a bizarre incident whilst representing his country.

The giant striker was attacked by fans after his team, Mali had just beaten rivals Togo to qualify for the African Cup of Nations.

Sidibe received a gashed eye which required eight stitches and was also knocked out cold during the alleged assault.
