Rhodes leaves Hillsborough

Sheffield Wednesday have completed a deal with Norwich City which sees Owls striker Jordan Rhodes join the Canaries on loan.

The move was thought to have collapsed at the end of last week with the 2 clubs failing to come to an agreement on financial terms but these issues have been ironed out and Rhodes will spend the 2018-19 season at Carrow Road.

The 28-year-old joined Wednesday on loan from Middlesbrough on transfer deadline day in January 2017 and made the move permanent at the end of that season. However, he has since struggled to find the form that saw him become the most prolific striker in the Championship during his time at Huddersfield and Blackburn, in 55 appearances for the Owls he scored just 10 goals.
