Laws' JJ poser

The Jamaican winger has been in inspired form but missed the last few games after a picking up a knock against Colchester - but should be on the bench at least.

His place on the right has been filled by Marcus Tudgay recently and that looks to be the option Laws will stick with at Selhurst Park - with Steve MacLean and Deon Burton occupying the striking positions.

Wednesday will welcome back Leon Clarke next week after the Owls boss made it clear his loan spell at Oldham would not be extended so he will offer more options in attack.

No Frank Simek though as the USA international serves the first of a three-match ban after his sending off against Wolves.

The right-back spot will be filled most likely by Steve Watson with Kenny Lunt or Johan Folly coming into his vacant midfield berth.

Former Owl Shefki Kuqi is set to be part of Peter Taylor's squad as will ex-Sheffield United winger Paul Ifill.
