New options for Sturrock

Adams played 90 minutes against Walsall and is in contention for a midfield berth after missing the entire back end of the last campaign and the pre-season with an Achilles problem.

Tudgay meanwhile scored in the 2-1 defeat over The Saddlers on Tuesday night and completed nearly 70 minutes – he has been out of action since damaging tendons in his foot.

With Deon Burton the only recognised striker available at the moment with Drew Talbot, Barry Corr and Steve MacLean all missing through injury, Tudgay's inclusion would come as a mighty boost.

Lloyd Sam is expected to keep his place on the right of midfield while Wade Small could make the bench and give Wednesday more options as a substitute.

Brad Jones will be able to play despite being sent off against Leeds two weeks ago after the club won their appeal for ‘wrongful dismissal' following his red card in the Yorkshire derby.
