No firm offers for midfielder

Sheffield Wednesday are yet to receive any concrete offers for Kenny Lunt according to BBC radio Sheffield.

Brian Laws told the BBC that a number of clubs have made informal enquiries about the central midfielder but "there has been no positive approaches as yet".

Lunt is not seen as part of Brian Laws plans at Hillsborough and if the player was to move on then it would free up funds to allow the manager to bring other options in.

Lunt spent the end of last season on loan at his former club Crewe and is behind Sean McAllister and new signing James O'Connor in the Owls pecking order. Steve Watson and Richard Hinds could also cover in the centre of the park and Wednesday are thought to be still considering possible options to strengthen further in this area.
