Stopper joins Grimsby
Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Jake Kean has joined League Two side Grimsby Town on loan for the remainder of the season. Former Norwich keeper Kean moved to Hillsborough in the summer of 2016 but hasn’t had a look in since making the move and spent the second half of last season on loan at Mansfield.
Wednesday’s first choice keeper, Republic of Ireland international Keiren Westwood, is currently out injured but young prospects Joe Wildsmith and Cameron Dawson have established themselves ahead of Kean in the pecking order at S6.
