Ipswich Vs Wednesday: Team news & preview

Sheffield Wednesday travel to Portman Road on Saturday with Steve Bruce in the Owls hot seat for his first game in charge. The former Manchester United defender wasted no time in bolstering his squad, adding 3 new names on transfer deadline day and Dominic Iorfa, Rolando Aarons and Achraf Lazaar could all be included in th squad. Fernando Forestieri made his first appearance of the season from the substitutes bench in the defeat at Chelsea last weekend and could be on the bench once again. Michael Hector is likely to return having been ineligable to play against his parent club last weekend.

Ipswich brought in James Bree on loan from Aston Villa on Thursday and the defender could be in line to make his debut for the Tractor Boys. Emyr Huws is the home sides only major injury absentee as he continues to recover from a long term knee injury.

The Owls are in decent form in the league having only lost 1 of their last 6 matches in the Championship though their last away game in the league resulted in a 3-0 defeat at Hull City.
Ipswich have lost 5 of their last 6 in the Championship but 4 of the defeats have been away from Portman Road. They have only won 2 of their 14 home games to date while Wednesday have lost 8 of their 14 away games.

Wednesday enjoyed a 2-1 win at home to Ipswich back in August but haven't managed a league double over their hosts in over a decade.
