Morning reports have speculated that Paul Sturrock is interested in bringing Holt back to Hillsborough following the forward’s sensational form for the Moss Rose outfit this season.

Carlisle-born Holt has hit 21 goals this season for Steve Parkin’s men and has come on leaps and bounds since his ill-fated spell in S6 where he only score four times over two seasons.

Rochdale
even rejected an earlier bid from Swansea City of £75,000 to keep the striker at the club although morning press reports state that he is heading back to the Steel City, where he was never really given a fair crack of the whip under then-manager Chris Turner.

McNamee on the other hand has been a standout performer for Livingstone this season in the SPL and has attracted not only Wednesday’s interest but that of
Brighton, Derby, Hearts, Rangers and Plymouth.

The right-back has had a stint south of the border before when he signed for
Blackburn as a youngster in 1999 but he admits he will want to see the season out with Livi before making any decision on his future.
