The Owls will play last season's bogey team Blackpool at Bloomfield Road on Tuesday 10th and then make the long trip to newly -promoted Torquay on Saturday 14th.

But Chris Turner's men could face a difficult end to the campaign by facing Bristol City at home followed by a trip to Hull City on the last day.

Fans have a home date on Boxing Day with relegated Walsall and face a journey down the M1 on new year's day to Luton.

South Yorkshire derbies against Barnsley will be at Hillsborough in October and at Oakwell in Feburary, while Doncaster will be looking forward to the visit of The Owls on the Saturday before Christmas with the return trip coming at the start of March.

The first Yorkshire clash will see the return to S6 of Terry Yorath on August 21st, who is the assistant manager at Huddersfield Town.
