Sheffield Wednesday host Queens Park Rangers at Hillsborough on Saturday and having moved into the top 6 in the Championship in midweek after picking up a point at Cardiff Carlos Carvalhal's side will be hoping to pick up 3 points and continue their steady progress.

Carlos Carvalhal has doubts over first choice goalkeeper Keiren Westwood after the Irish international was substituted during the game at Cardiff due to a back injury. With current 2nd choice keeper Joe Wildsmith also injured Cameron Dawson could start if Westwood doesn't make it.

Barry Bannan is expected to return after being rested on Wednesday and Fernando Forestieri could return to the starting line up after coming on at half-time in Wales. Steven Fletcher may also be available having missed 2 games for family reasons but winger Ross Wallace is an injury doubt.

Queens Park Rangers will assess the fitness of defender Joel Lynch and midfielder Jordan Cousins as both were subbed off during the midweek win against Bristol City. Defender Jake Bidwell definitely misses out due to a shoulder injury.

Wednesday are in good form having picked up 4 points from 2 games on their travels this week. They have won 4 of 6 they have played at home this season but were defeated by Brighton in their last game at Hillsborough.

QPR are also in good form having not lost in their last 5 and they have won 3 away games so far this season.

The two sides played out two draws in last seasons clashes and in their last 10 meetings at Hillsborough the Owls have won 5 times with QPR winning 3.
