Monk’s men to travel to capital
Sheffield Wednesday’s impressive start to the 2020-21 season continued with a Carabao Cup 2nd round win at Rochdale on Tuesday evening.
Garry Monk made 11 changes to the side that started the league opener at Cardiff City last weekend but it didn’t effect the Owls who dominated the game, particularly in the second where goals from Kachunga and Windass earned a deserved 2-0 win.
On Wednesday Fulham saw off the challenge of League One side Ipswich Town to book their place in the 3rd round and a clash with the Owls.
Wednesday will make the trip to Craven Cottage on Wednesday 23rd September with the kick-off at 7pm.
