Sheffield Wednesday have allowed Canadian striker Caolan Lavery to join League 2 side Portsmouth on loan.
The 22-year-old forward has made 39 appearances for Wednesday but has struggled to break into the first team this season and will be hoping to get more of a chance to prove his worth for the League 2 promotion chasers.
The emergency loan spell will see him stay at FrattonPark until mid-January.
