Everton to visit Hillsborough
Sheffield Wednesday will play Everton in the 3rd round of the Carabao Cup at Hillsborough following the draw on Wednesday evening.
The Owls saw off Rotherham United at the last in their second round tie at the New York Stadium as Atdhe Nuhiu scored the only goal of the game deep into injury time. Everton meanwhile came through a tricky clash at Lincoln City, winning 4-2 in an entertaining game.
The two sides have not met since the same stage of the competition in 2007 where Everton ran out 3-0 winners thanks to three second-half goals.
The tie will take place during the week commencing 23rd September.
