Owls to meet Pools in quarter-finals

Sheffield Wednesday have been drawn to play Hartlepool at Hillsborough in the third round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

The Owls, who beat Pools 5-0 at Victoria Park in League One in August, will play their northern area quarter-final during the week commencing November 8. It is the third successive home draw in this season's competition for Wednesday, who have beaten Notts County and Chesterfield to reach the third round.
