The eagerly awaited football league fixtures were announced today and Sheffield Wednesday will begin their campaign on the road.
First up for the Owls is a trip to Lancashire to face Preston North End during the first weekend in August and that is followed by back-to-back home games against QPR and Sunderland.
The first Sheffield derby since 2012 is scheduled for Hillsborough on 23rd September with the trip to the Blades on January 13th.
Wednesday travel to Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day and host Burton Albion on New Year’s Day. The season ends with Norwich visting Hillsborough on Sunday 6th May. A full list of the Owls fixtures can be found on the official club website, www.swfc.co.uk
