Sheffield Wednesday players are continuing to train at home in a bid to keep up their fitness during the COVID-19 epidemic restrictions.

Intrepid Owls reporter Dom Howson revealed in an article on the Examiner Live website that the players had not used the club training facilities since 31st March and will not do so until at least April 14th under advice from the EFL, though it could well be that the current restrictions are extended.

Garry Monk's squad have received individual training plans that have been tailored to their own requirements and the coaching, fitness and medical staff are able to monitor and review elements of their progress remotely.

The Owls have not played since March 7th and with 9 league games of their 2019-20 campaign still to play, it is yet to be determined if and when the Championship season will be resumed.
