Sheffield Wednesday utility player Jeremy Helan is reported to be set to retire from the sport completely in order to devote his life to religion.
Helan is a devout Muslim and former Wednesday manager Dave Jones, who signed the Frenchman for the Owls from Manchester City, often referred to him by his Muslim name, Mukhtar.
The 24-year-old moved to Hillsborough on an initial loan spell in 2012 before making his move permanent and he has gone on to make close to 150 appearances for the Owls.
It is reported that he plans to move to Saudi Arabia to concentrate on his faith.
