Owls without Keiren in the capital

Sheffield Wednesday have been dealt a blow with the news that their appeal against Keiren Westwood's red card has failed. The decision to dismiss the Owls keeper in the defeat at Derby County on Saturday has been upheld and he will miss tonight's game against struggling Millwall due to the 1-match suspension.

Stuart Gray is also without the services of central defender Glenn Loovens and striker Sergiu Bus due to injury but defensive midfield linchpin Jose Semedo could return to the side.

Millwall could feature on-loan Leicester City striker Gary Taylor-Fletcher, who had an indifferent short spell with the Owls earlier in the season.

Former Sheffield United winger Lee Martin looks set to miss out due to a foot injury and Nicky Bailey, Shaun Cummings and Carlos Edwards also remain on the sidelines.

The Lions are currently struggling in the 3rd relegation spot in the Championship but are only 3 points behind 21st placed Rotherham and a victory would see them move to within 6 points of the Owls.

Millwall have taken 7 points from their last 5 matches but they have not won any of their previous 9 home games.

Wednesday are without a win in 7 league matches and their previously excellent away record has been tarnished by 3 defeats in a row on the road.

The two sides played out a 1-1 draw at Hillsborough in August when Millwall rescued a point thanks to an injury time equaliser.
