Peacock back in the firing line

The striker was rushed back to return against Hull and had to play around 70 minutes due to the unforeseen injury to Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu who will now be out for a fortnight.

Drew Talbot has been recalled to the squad following his arm injury and may play a part towards the end of the game tomorrow.


Graeme Lee is also pushing for a recall after he was out with a rib injury for The Tigers clash.


Meanwhile, Paul Sturrock sat his players down following the capitulation on Wednesday night and made them watch the video of the 4-2 defeat so he could get them to appreciate what he was saying about how badly they defended.


The Scotsman has admitted that when he tells his players something negative about a previous performance, they do not usually believe it until they have watched it back on the video.


The club have also denied any interest in Darlington’s Alun Armstrong claiming that the speculation that the striker was going to sign was all fabricated by agents.
