Peacock on City clash - exclusive

Wednesday still need to beat City despite already qualifying for the play-offs because it will give them home advantage in the second leg.

There will not be much of a rest though whatever the result against City as The Owls are set to play their first game in the play-offs on Thursday or Friday, with the second leg coming on the following Monday or Tuesday.

But Peacock, coming up against his old team for the first time and Wednesday's assured position in the post-season will still mean no room for complacency.

He told Footymad: "It’s going to be emotional on Saturday for me as it will be good to see some of my old mates but we have to go into it with the right attitude and we need to carry on good form into the play-offs so it’s vital we do things right and get a good result.

"There is no better time that just before the play-offs to get in a good run of form so hopefully this is the start of something good and if we go up, I will be so happy because I have been put out in the last two years, I was beat in the final last year and lost in the semis the year before that but hopefully third time lucky for myself will see me through."

Paul Sturrock is set to name an unchanged team for the clash at Hillsborough although David Lucas is set to take his place on the bench.

Steve Adams has missed some training sessions this week but is expected to keep his place alongside Glenn Whelan.

Remember, tomorrow's game is ALL TICKET and do not bother turning up at the ground without one.
