Despite the clean sheet in Tuesdays' draw at St Mary's the Owls are likely to recall right-back Frankie Simek and central defender Michael Johnson to the starting line-up against Coventry City should they be able to prove their fitness.

Veteran Lee Bullen, who did a good job in deputising for Simek in midweek never gives anything less than 110% but is not seen as part of the long-term plans at Hillsborough and although 18 year old centre back Mark Beevers has earned high praise from boss Brian Laws for his performances in the last two games Johnsons' experience would more than likely see him given the nod if fit.

As has been reported Akpo Sodje is a major doubt, joining fellow strikers Jeffers and Burton on the injury list and so Marcus Tudgay is likely to start having had to make do with coming off the bench against Southampton.

Yoann Folly who missed last Saturdays home defeat to Colchester returned to the starting line-up against Southampton and will be hoping to retain his place while Steve Watson, who was rested from the starting eleven in midweek will also be in contention.
