Shaw on mark again

The Owls have had problems in front of goal in the last few games and while Steve MacLean goes through a tough patch and Lee Peacock is out of action for the foreseeable future, Shaw has been on fire for the reserves.

His goal yesterday against The Saddlers was his sixth in six games and he also helped set up Matt Hamshaw in a 2-1 come-from-behind victory.

Shaw ended last season by scoring two goals in two games for the first team but has found opportunities limited since.

Meanwhile, former boss Howard Wilkinson has been drafted in by Dave Bassett to help coach Leicester City following Micky Adams' resignation.
