Owls-mad last reported on the fortunes of the Ladies team in the summer, following a successful campaign that saw them promoted to the FA Women's Premier League Northern division and clinch the Sheffield and Hallamshire County Cup to boot.

While the men at Hillsborough have struggled to find any consistency this season the ladies are in the top-half of their league and have progressed to the semi-finals of the County Cup in what is proving to be a successful defence of their trophy so far.

The next fixture for the team is against Rotherham United Ladies at Maltby Main FC on Tuesday 5th February for a 7.45pm kick-off.

Although Rotherham are struggling towards the foot of the table they are traditionally well supported and with this in mind the Owls Ladies manager, Daniel Duke is looking to encourage Wednesday fans to the game to give them their backing.
