The former Nottingham Forest star saved Gary Lineker's spot kick in the 1991 FA Cup final against Spurs and believes, as a goalkeeper, it cannot get better than that.

He told Footymad: "To be honest, it doesn't get much better than saving a penalty in a cup final, not being paid to score goals, it was definitely a buzz scoring the other week it was a feeling which I have never felt before and it was great but I am not sure it was up there with the cup final save or not!"

Meanwhile, Wednesday have started talks with Fulham to get Crossley on loan for the rest of the season with possibly a view to a permanent move.

In other news, Wayne Andrews has returned to Coventry City after his loan spell expired.

The Sky Blues would only release Andrews for a permanent deal and Brian Laws only wanted to sign him on loan.

The former Colchester forward played in eight games for Wednesday and scored in the 3-0 win at Barnsley last Saturday.
