It was reported in the papers this morning that Swansea’s hotshot Trundle is set to move to Hillsborough for £475,000 in January’s transfer window.

But chief executive Kavan Walker has said that the club have not made an approach to the Welsh team for their prized asset.

In regards to The Owls’ game tomorrow, their biggest of the season so far, Sturrock has Lee Bullen, Maurice Ross, Graham Coughlan, Craig Rocastle and Barry Corr all fresh from 90 minutes in the reserves behind them all.

Expect to see Richard Wood and Frankie Simek rested and some older heads being brought in.

JP McGovern could play a part but it all depends on whether he comes through a fitness test.

Paul Heckingbottom and Richie Partridge have also come through training and the reserve defeat at Huddersfield unscathed and could also feature.
