Republic of Ireland international Barrett, the former Arsenal forward, has signed from The Sky Blues on loan and will provide cover for James Quinn, Lee Peacock and Drew Talbot for the rest of the season.
Spaniard Aranalde was released from Walsall but is a capable defender who is very strong going forward and has signed a contract that lasts until May.
