Wednesday go to top flight team
The draw for the FA Cup 3rd round took place on Monday evening and it wasn't too kind to Sheffield Wednesday Garry Monk's side will make a long trip south in January to face Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Premier League side reached the semi-finals of the competition and will be a difficult proposition on home soil. The two sides last met in Brighton's Championship promotion season when the Owls were beaten 2-1 by their hosts in January 2017. Wednesday missed a penalty with the score at 1-1 and then had two players sent off late on as their frustrations boiled over.
