Trio back to boost Owls

Captain Bullen has been out since pre-season with an Achilles problem and could be in contention for the Leicester City game in a week and a half.

The Scotsman, who only missed one game last season, will add some much-needed experience to Wednesday who are still finding their feet after their promotion.

Heckingbottom meanwhile has been laid low with a hamstring injury and is also in contention to make a comeback at the Walkers Stadium - especially after John Hills' dismissal against QPR.

But the duo have not played many games so Paul Sturrock will have to try them out in the reserves first to make sure they can last the full 90 minutes.

Corr has not played for The Owls at all since his move from Leeds last season but Sturrock believes he can make a big impression on the first-team squad.

He has been suffering with a thigh problem since pre-season but is now back in full training.
