Owls Vs Bees: Team news & preview

Sheffield Wednesday face Brentford at Hillsborough on Tuesday, looking to build on their 3-1 home win over Nottingham Forest at the weekend.

The Owls are likely to continue to be without injured duo Sam Hutchinson and Glenn Loovens but Carlos Carvalhal is likely to be able to choose from the same squad although 1 or 2 have fitness worries. Kieran Lee played for the first time this season and so will be assessed at to whether he has the level of fitness to start 2 games in short succession at this stage of his comeback. Steven Fletcher has been carrying a knock for a while and so Jordan Rhodes could come into contention.

Brentford lost midfielder Sergi Canos to injury during the first half of their 0-0 draw at Villa Park on Saturday and he could miss the clash. Josh Clarke is likely to step in if this is the case while Rico Henry should be available.

Wednesday have not lost in the league since the first game of the season but have drawn 2 of their 3 home games to date. Brentford are yet to win in their first 6 games but have kept 2 successive clean sheets. The Bees took 4 points off the Owls last season, drawing 1-1 at home and winning 2-1 at Hillsborough.
