Championship football returns this weekend following the latest round of international matches and with no further international breaks until March the players and teams will be fully focused on the task in hand.

Wednesday travel to London with a strong squad and Lucas Joao is hoping to make the squad after a prolonged spell out injured. Coach Carlos Carvalhal has reported a positive couple of weeks in training and expects to see his team push on in the coming weeks.

Fulham also have few injury concerns and are expected to pick from the same squad the featured last time out when they beat London rivals Brentford. Scottish striker Chris Martin is finding his form at a slow start at Craven Cottage following his summer move from Derby and will be expected to lead the attack.

Wednesday come into the game on the back of 2 defeats which has seen them slip to 10th place in the division.

By contrast Fulham are in good form having won 2 in a row without conceding and s coring 7 in the process. They are level on points with the Owls but sit 2 places above them in the table thanks to a superior goal difference.

The Owls enjoyed 3 victories against Fulham last season, doing the double over them in the league and knocking them out of the F.A. Cup but the win at Craven Cottage was their first victory their in 10 attempts.
