Will visit to Wolves end Wednesday's woes on the road?

Sheffield Wednesday travel to Molineux this evening to face Wolverhampton Wanderers and will be looking to improve on a dismal run of away form of late.

The Owls have not won on their travels since beating Plymouth in early November, a run that has seen them lose 4 and draw 4 in league and cup, scoring just 5 times in the process.

Despite this poor run of form Wednesday have not conceded many goals and will hope that the recent return of Akpo Sodje to the side can improve the goal scoring record.

Wednesday may well start with the same 11 as they did in the victory over Sheffield United in the last league game although this could depend on the fitness of left-midfielder Burton O'Brien who faces a late fitness test.

Steve Watson who made a scoring return to the side against Derby in F.A. Cup looks certain to miss out through injury so Ronnie Wallwork is likely to take up the midfield holding role as he did against the Blades.

Long term absentees Frankie Simek and Francis Jeffers remain sidelined while Deon Burton and Etienne Esajas may have to settle for places on the bench is passed fit.

Wolves have looked impressive in winning their last two fixtures comfortably and will have selection dilemmas going into this fixture. They will be without forward players Freddie Eastwood and Michael Kightly but will have to decide whether or not to bring new signings Edwards and Ebanks-Blake back into the side, with both having missed the 4-1 victory at Watford last weekend through being cup-tied.

Wednesday have a poor overall historical record at Wolves but have not been beaten on their previous five league visits, winning once and drawing four times.
