Kuqi bagged his third goal in two games with a close-range header that clinched the victory at Hillsborough on Sunday.

"If anybody deserves to score goals, it's him because he works his socks off for the team," said Yorath.

"I'd never say he's the most technically gifted of players. But when you've got somebody like him working so hard, the rest of the players can play off that."

Yorath was also quick to point out the string of fine saves made by veteran goalkeeper Kevin Pressman which kept the Owls in the game.

"Without his ability we wouldn't have won the game," he said.
